Jobs for Alabama’s Students once again received the prestigious 5 of 5 Award.
The recognition, bestowed by Jobs for America’s Graduates, recognizes the achievements and success of our Alabama JAG programs.
Alabama surpassed the national goal in each of 5 key performance goals, including:
-Graduation rate of JAG participants
-Total civilian job placement and military service
-Total full-time employment
-Total full-time positive outcomes
-Further education rate
The Alabama JAG state team presented the award to Governor Kay Ivey during the State Board of Education meeting in August of 2021.
Joining Governor Ivey are Mandy Nichols, JAG State Program Manager, Craig Collins, Education Administrator, and Dr. Jimmy Hull, Assistant State Superintendent for Career and Technical Education/Workforce Development at the Alabama State Department of Education.
